We want speculative fiction, broadly defined. In general, we are more concerned with compelling stories than with genre boundaries — so if it’s good, send it to us. Do not send us your first drafts. Manuscripts should be free from spelling errors, grammatical errors, and typos.
We like unusual stories, but we like them told with conventional storytelling techniques - send us stories with strong ideas, strong plot, and strong character development. We favor stories that are dark, funny, strange, or all three. Send us urban fantasy, retellings, SF, fantasy, horror, magical realism, and odd unclassifiable stories.
